BC Samaj Caste Census to hold round table meetings on discrepancies

Mahabbnagar: The BC Samaj has announced a round table meeting at the Press Club in Mehboobnagar on 18 February, in which BC Cast Association leaders, intellectuals, political representatives, leaders of public organization and members of the student union have been brought together. The discussion will focus on comprehensive BC caste census report and its alleged discrepancies. Sangam Suryo, President of the State of BC Samaj, State Secretary of BC Samaj and United Mehboobnagar District President M. According to Srinivas Sagar, he will participate as the chief guest.

Addressing the media, Srinivas Sagar expressed concern over the Congress Party’s election promise to census a comprehensive caste census. He alleged that the process was incomplete, the BC population figures deliberately reduced, while the number of upper castes was inflated. He also stated that the classification of some Muslim communities as BC Muslims would be an important point of discussion.

One of the major issues arguing in the meeting is claimed that the BC population was reduced by 19 lakh persons. In addition, reports suggest that many houses were excluded from the survey, questioning the accuracy of data. In the meeting, leaders will discuss these concerns and announce future action.
