GHMC performs anti-round operation along with Musi to check the risk of mosquito

Hyderabad: To examine the danger of a mosquito in the river Musi and surrounding areas, the Antomology Wing of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) conducted anti -larger operations.

Larvel anti-movement was conducted with more than 100 workers of the Antomology Wing from 3 to 14 February to control the mosquito larva. Workers were also engaged in removing water hyacinth in Mussi from Atapur to Chedghat Bridge.

According to a press release issued here, the operation had about 25 napsack sprayers and five power sprayers sprayed larvisides such as MLO Oil and Tempo, which after removing water hyacinth, controlled the mosquito larvae.

These-warehouses were also held at Basathis, colonies and historical buildings such as Osmania Hospital, High Court, City College and Salarjung Museum, as well as around the Mushahahal and Karwan circles with divisions.
