Ishaan Khat celebrated friendship with homebound co-star Vishal Jethwa

Mumbai: Actor Ishaan Khat celebrated a sense of friendship with his homebound co-star Vishal Jethwa, who shares the moments behind the scenes that highlight his off-screen bond.

Ishaan posted a series of Stills from the film on Instagram, adding an indifferent touch with Sholay’s prestigious track Yeow Dosti Hum Nahin. Capging the post, he wrote: “Dosti Amar Rahe – Shoaib and Chandan,” referring to the bond between their characters.

Remembering the first day
On 26 September, Ishaan reflected in the early days of preparation, helping him deeply understand the film. He shared himself, Vishal, and Snapshot characterized by director Neeraj Ghaywan. A particularly hot picture captured the trio, sharing a simple food together to all three.

He wrote: “The release of Aj Homebound was given the ability to summarize the story from Deen Woh Pehle Deen Yaad Aa Rahe Han Hanhon Hamin Hai .. Preparation, August 2024.”

Oscar entry for India
Directed by National Award winner Neeraj Gaywan and produced by Dharma Productions, Hombound has been declared as India’s official entry in the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards.

The film follows two childhood friends from a small village in North India who dream of becoming a police officer, who expects to earn respect at any time. But as they are with their goals, pressure and struggle threatens their friendship.

The actors include Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khat and Vishal Jethwa in the lead roles.

Ghaywan said in a statement that he is “deeply respected” by Oscar selection: “Inherent in love for our land and our people, this house shares the essence of the house. It is a matter of both humble and pride to represent India in one of the biggest global stages for cinema.”
