Medak: Prasadam counter Manjira was swept away by Prasadam in Edupayala Temple

Medak: Prasadam counter at Sri Vanaduga Bhavani Temple in Edupayala was swept away on Saturday morning due to heavy influx in the Manjira river. Irrigation authorities have issued more than 90,000 cusecs from the Singur reservoir, causing the river spate.
The temple priests closed the temple after a continuous flow a few days ago. Daily rituals are being performed to the procession deity in Rajagopuram. The temple is usually witness to heavy legs during Dasara, but continuous rains have reduced spiritual activity this year.
