Ministry of Tourism Partner with Netflix to promote Indian destinations

New Delhi: The Ministry of Tourism (MOT) has announced its first cooperation with Global Streaming Platform Netflix to show and promote the cultural prosperity and diversity of incredible India.

“This cooperation with Netflix reflects our shared commitment to show India’s cultural prosperity and diversity,” said V Vidyavati, secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, in a statement.

Netflix has already highlighted the Indian background in several acclaimed presentations-from the juicy Nilagiri forests to the academy, to whispering Elephant, the specialty of Mona Singh and Ashutosh Gowariker in the Andaman Islands in Kaila Pani; Amar Singh Chakkila of Imtiaz Ali in the colorful area of ​​Punjab; Vives of Rajasthan in mismatch; And Kalimpong’s Misty Hills in Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Jane Jaan.

As part of the partnership, Mot and Netflix will work together, identifying ways to identify that travel sites can be meaningfully integrated into the Netflix’s Bharat Storyline, which can ensure both creative alignment and tourism promotion.

Netflix has shot in more than 100 cities in 23 states, making it an international streaming service with the most comprehensive filming footprint in India. Meanwhile, Amar Singh Chamkila has earned a global praise with the best actor Diljit Dosanj nominated for the Best Actor at the International Amy Awards.
