Naidu inaugurated BSNL’s indigenous 4G, emphasizes product innovation on jobs

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said on Saturday that it is important to make products instead of staying as employees, emphasizing that the products guarantee 100 percent revenue.

Inaugurating the Swadeshi 4G mobile network in Vijayawada, Bharat Scholar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said that the Chief Minister said that Indians are downloading 24 percent apps made by others, which are paying 95 percent to foreign companies.

Naidu said, “We are doing job work (jobs), which we should not do. Money is in products. If we can make products, we will also get 100 percent revenue and royalty,” Naidu said, it is also important to get a patent.

Saying that his dream was to see the owner of the smartphone in the country, he said that Andhra Pradesh will showcase how the smartphone has enabled the ease in life.

Appreciating BSNL to cancel a global tender in 2020 and go for indigenous development of technology for the inauguration of indigenous 4G mobile networks, CM said that nothing is impossible after the arrival of 4G technology.

Emphasizing the importance of 4G technology, he said that there was a need to roll out services such as ‘Maina Mitra’ in the southern state, providing more than 700 services to the people.

According to Naidu, he submitted a report to the central government in 1998, which “led the deragulation” in the telecom sector and saw that BSNL has become a “powerful” organization today.

Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the CM reiterated that he is the right man at the right place at the right time, and said that India suffered losses due to lack of a right leader, but not for the desire of resources or smartness.

Saying PM Modi as everyone’s pride, the TDP supremo said that in the past there is foresight and vision, which underlines initiatives like ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’, ‘Self -reliance India’ and others.

Giving credit to the Prime Minister for sending vaccines to 100 countries during the Covid-19 epidemic, Naidu also underlined that countries like France and Singapore are adopting UPI payment technology of India.

Saying that no one can stop India from going ahead, CM said that the country will become number one globally by 2047. As we all are now in a knowledge economy, they called upon people to engage in smart work.
