Rahul Gandhi started to promote 4-nation South America, trade outreach

New Delhi: Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has started a trip to four South American countries, where he is expected to interact with political leaders, students and traders.

The media and publicity department, in -charge of the Congress, Pawan Khera informed about how many days Gandhi will stay out of the country.

“The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Mr. Rahul Gandhi has captured the visit to South America. He is scheduled to join political leaders, university students and business community members in four countries,” Khera said on X.

According to the Congress, Gandhi will visit Brazil and Colombia, where he is expected to interact with the university students. The party said that it will hold meetings with presidents and senior leaders in many countries, strengthening democratic and strategic relations.

Gandhi will also engage to find out opportunities with business leaders as India tries to diversify trade and partnership in view of American tariffs.

He will interact with Brazil, Colombia and beyond university students, promoting the dialogue of global leaders with the next generation. The important journey bears historical resonance, the Congress said, India and South America have shared long-shared bonds through non-esophaged movement, solidarity in the global South and commitment to a multi-polar world system.

The Congress said that Rahul Gandhi’s outreach has continued this tradition by opening new avenues of cooperation in business, technology, stability and people’s exchange of people.

This underlines the necessary role of India’s democratic opposition in shaping international partnership and promoting India’s global presence, the party also said.
