The yield of low cotton motivates the farmer to end life in Adilabad, Telangana

Kumram Bhim Asifabad: The low cotton yield allegedly forced a farmer to end his life by consuming pesticides in Bondaguda village of Asifabad division on Tuesday.
Asifabad Inspector Ravinder said in a statement that Komram Poshayah (55) died of suicide as he was saddened by the produce of poor cotton. He attempted suicide on Monday.
He was shifted to a hospital in Mancharti. He breathed his last during treatment on Tuesday. Poshaiya grown cotton crop on his 10 acres of land. He was disappointed to enter a dip in the produce and consumed pesticides when he was alone.
Based on the complaint received from Naresh, Poshaiya’s son, a case was registered.
From 1 December to 25 January, at least eight farmers have died in Adilabad district. The 55 -year -old farmer, Melapur Narsaiya, ended his life, as he was saddened by inability to repay the growing loans in Varathmanur village in Bajarhathanur. Mandal on 25 January.
