Washed on the road, crops in Sangardi were damaged due to heavy rains

Sangreddy: Traffic was interrupted between parts of Sangredi and Vikarabad districts after a road in Saipur village of Kondapur division, which was washed away after heavy rains on Saturday morning. Agricultural crops of more than 40 acres were damaged in Saipur.

This road connects the city of Sadashivpet in Sangardi with the villages of Mominpet Mandal in Vikarbad district.

Sangardi MLA Chintha Prabhakar visited the spot and investigated the loss. After negotiating with the farmers, he directed the engineering department officials to start road restoration without delay to ensure connectivity. He also calculated crop losses from the officials of the Agriculture Department.

The BRS MLA demanded that the government supported the farmers immediately. He assured that he would always stand by farmers in his constituency.
